GharSeva 2.9.0 is now live on Google Play

Our biggest release yet: working profile photos, on-the-way partner alerts with live arrival estimates, full tablet and landscape support, and Hindi across every notification.

Profile photos now work end-to-end — take one with the camera or pick from the gallery, on any Android device. When your partner heads your way, a push notification carries a live arrival estimate, and tapping any booking notification opens the exact booking it belongs to, even if the app was closed.

The release also brings a refreshed app icon, an elevated sign-in screen, edge-to-edge layouts across all 24 screens, and phone-number masking so contact details appear only where a booking needs them. Before a single user saw it, 2.9.0 passed two independent audits and a 28-point on-device walkthrough with zero known issues.

Two independent audits before release

A functional audit walked every screen and flow in both languages; a content-accuracy audit checked every on-screen price and policy line against the code that enforces it. Every finding was fixed.

Platform-wide security review completed

Every finding, at every severity, was remediated and deployed — across the app, the servers, and the database rules. Aadhaar and PAN numbers are never stored; payment details stay with Razorpay.
